Video highlights red tourism resources
A video titled "Rays of Light" which features the "red tourism" resources of five cities in China was released in Shanghai on Friday.
The video takes viewers in a tour from shikumen (stone-gated) houses in Shanghai to the Jinggang Mountains — known as the birthplace of the Chinese Red Army, and Yan'an, a stronghold of the Chinese revolution.
It captures the lives of people in Shanghai, Jiaxing, Jinggangshan, Zunyi and Yan'an in the new era, their spirit and the vitality of economies.
The MV will be screened on streets, metro trains, buses and high-speed rail trains in Shanghai.
During the releasing ceremony, the Shanghai Tourism Administration and their counterparts in four other cities promoted their "red tourism" resources.
Shanghai plays an important part in the history of the Communist Party of China, and is home to many historical and cultural sites, revolutionary sites and former residences of famous people.
