Disney closes some facilities due to typhoon
Ten outdoor attractions at Shanghai Disneyland have closed in the face of the upcoming typhoon Ampil.
At 8am on Sunday, visitors have formed a line at the gate. By 9am, Shanghai Disney Resort has accepted 31,000 visitors.
To ensure safety, the 11-meter-tall giant rubber Donald Duck on the Wishing Star Lake has been transferred.
So far, ten outdoor attractions have closed. They are Explorer Canoes, Voyage to the Crystal Grotto, Jet Packs, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, “Once Upon a Time” Adventure, Hunny Pot Spin, Fantasia Carousel, Slinky Dog Spin and Woody’s Roundup.
More outdoor attractions will be closed if weather conditions turn worse. Indoor attractions open as usual but there may be some adjustments, according to Shanghai Disney Resort.
