The former chairman and deputy Party secretary of the Shanghai Airport Authority is under investigation on suspicion of serious violations of laws and Party discipline, the city’s disciplinary watchdog announced yesterday.
The CPC Shanghai Commission for Discipline Inspection did not elaborate.
Wu Jianrong, 56, once served as the deputy secretary general of the Shanghai government, the director with the Shanghai Commodity Price Bureau as well as the deputy director, deputy secretary of Party group and head of disciplinary inspection group of the city’s development and reform commission.
