World's first Peppa Pig indoor play center to open in Shanghai

The play center, covering an area of 1,100 square meters, is currently under construction.

Peppa Pig’s first indoor play center, Peppa Pig World of Play, will debut at Shanghai LC Mall, officials revealed on August 8.

The play center, covering an area of 1,100 square meters, is currently under construction. It is expected to open to the public at the end of the year.

The 10 light-hearted game zones are all inspired by familiar scenes from the British animated series, which has become hugely popular in China. Preschool children can embark on a 1.5-hour adventure with Peppa and her friends and family.

The center will also offer a cinema, gift ship and special party rooms for children.

According to Shen Danjue, general manager of Shanghai LC Mall, the indoor play center will provide children and their families with a unique experience of fun mixed with entertainment.

Following Shanghai, the theme park will also be launched in other big cities around the world to present kids with an immersive and interactive experience.
