Local students can take part in educational chemistry activities and experiments at the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, as part of the museum’s cooperation with German chemical giant BASF.

Along with its regular “kid’s lab” activities, the two sides will organize more long-term branded science activities, including BASF Open Day which will allow high-schoolers to tour BASF production sites, as well as salon-type events with professional chemists.

BASF will also support the design of the museum’s new Materials Exhibition Area and offer exhibits.
