Pop band exhibition unveiled in downtown mall
An art exhibition about popular South Korean boy band Bigbang has been launched at the Global Harbor Mall in Putuo District.
The exhibition "Bigbang10: A to Z" includes paintings, photos, art installations and immersive shows about the major milestones of the band in the last decade. The exhibition has gained wide popularity on its prior stops in Seoul and Taipei.
Five members of the band took part in the exhibition designing and arrangement, according to the organizer. As a highlight, an art installation named Untitled G-Dragon from South Korean artist Osang Gwon has become an Internet sensation on Facebook and Instagram during the previous exhibitions.
The costumes, shoes and accessories of the five members of the band have also been displayed at the exhibition covering 1,500 square meters. The exhibition is being held on the second floor of the shopping mall through October 20.
