Two tourist information centers went into operation at the city's two airports yesterday, providing bilingual services.
Shanghai has 20 tourist information centers. They provide hotel and tour booking, general advice and directions, and they also receive complaints.
Last year, the city received 8.73 million inbound tourists. That number is expected to hit 10 million by 2020, and 14 million by 2035.
