Training for Expo volunteers in full swing

University students are expected to communicate with foreign visitors and work under pressure.

A total of 5,009 students have been recruited from universities in and around Shanghai as volunteers at the China International Import Expo in the city in November.

Shanghai Youth League which is in charge of recruitment, said training had begun and the volunteers would be expected to communicate with foreigners attending the event, and work under pressure.

Also, 146 volunteers have been recruited from staff at universities, government organizations and companies to work with the government in organizing and serving the event.
