Xuhui service sectors gear up for import expo

Outstanding employees with the city’s service sectors were showcasing their skills and promoting the first China International Import Expo at communities and campuses on Saturday.
Staff from service companies in downtown Xuhui District are introducing the expo to the public and asking them to support and take part in preparations for the event, the district government said.
Volunteers, including bank clerks, doctors, nurses and law enforcement officers presented art performances at the Xietu subdistrict on Saturday. They pledged and encouraged their counterparts in other service industries to offer their best services to participants and tourists during the expo.
The activities were part of a series of activities launched by Xuhui in May to improve services and the image of the city ahead of the event, which takes place at the National Exhibition and Convention Center between November 5 and 10.
