Documentary and books dedicated to late Professor Zhong Yang
A documentary and three new books were released to mark the first anniversary of the death of the late professor Zhong Yang of Fudan University, who was dedicated to education, biology research and aiding Tibet development.

He was also well known for spending 16 years assisting Tibet’s development. He collected about 40 million plant seeds to build a genetic bank of plants that grow exclusively in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, and helped develop education of ecology in Tibet.
He died in a car accident on September 25 last year when he was on a business trip in Erdos City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. He was 53.
The documentary shows Zhong’s life in the memories of his family, students and colleagues.
The books are “People’s Scientist Zhong Yang,” “The Power of Seeds: Understanding Zhong Yang” and “Seed Zhong Yang.”
