A China International Import Expo themed Fuxinghao bullet train, G2, left Hongqiao Railway Station and set off for Beijing on Wednesday morning.

CIIE promotional banners are all over the train, and passengers can scan the QR code on posters and banners to learn more about the expo.

Another CIIE themed train, G3, departed from Beijing for Shanghai later in the afternoon.

In July, CIIE themed Metro trains first started operation in Shanghai. Since the end of July, a promotional video about the CIIE has been played in 36 train stations across the Yangtze River Delta region, as well as on 625 bullet trains.

The two high speed trains will be zipping between Shanghai and Beijing until the expo closes its curtains. The CIIE will be held from November 5 to 10.
