Charity run calls for 5,000 participants

This year’s Amway Nutrilite Health Run is scheduled for November 25 and calls for 5,000 runners, the organizer announced on Thursday.

The charity run, co-organized with Shanghai Charity Foundation, will again be held in the Shanghai International Tourism and Resorts Zone.

The length of the run is 7.8 kilometers, and at the end of the race, 26 companies will be meeting the runners and tourists with a charity fair.

Shanghai Charity Foundation said all of the money raised through the charity fair will be used to support mentally challenged children.

The entry fee for the run this year remains 50 yuan (US$7.20), and runners will be able to take part in a lucky draw for a free trip to Shanghai Disneyland and a resort hotel.
