Navigation training camp starts in Shanghai

Officials of national navigation centers from seven countries over the globe gathered in Shanghai this week to attend a training camp of navigation management which will last for a month.

The training will include seminars and lectures on international law of the sea, navigation technologies, design of navigation guidance and marks.

According to Donghai Navigation Safety Administration, one of the organizers of the camp, the training aims not only at a mutual understanding of China's navigation support system at a global scale, but collective collaboration on the maritime silk road to further promote the Belt and Road Initiative.
