Shanghai Health and Family Planning Commission announced they will launch a competition for innovative measures that local hospitals conducted to improve health services and further reform.

The final 20 candidates will be published on local media in early December. The winners will be selected through public voting and expert evaluation at the end of the year. A total of ten measures will be honored after the competition.

It is the second such competition launched in the city. In the first, measures like a pediatric health care group consisting of several hospitals offering residents convenient and high-quality pediatric services, and a big database covering local residents’ health information, were among the winners.
