Employees embrace cultural activities

Nearly 100,000 employees from 1,000 enterprises in Jiading District took part in more than 30 cultural activities in the first 11 months of the year.
Ten enterprises, including Volvo Asia Pacific, were named as demonstration bases of enterprise culture in the final of the 2018 Jiading Enterprise Culture Talent Show on November 28.
And 13 institutions, including the Anting Township government, received Excellent Organization Awards.
Jiading carried out enterprise cultural activities in order to accelerate Party construction among the enterprises. There are more than 120,000 high-tech companies with 746,000 employees in the district.
The cultural activities are arranged at industrial zones, offices, commercial areas and squares after working hour.
On September 18, nearly 1,000 people from 30 enterprises, including Shanghai Volkswagen and Skoda, gathered at Shanghai Auto Expo Park to join the Elite Run.
“As colleagues, we seldom have the chance to communicate, however, we became close teammates afterwards,” a participant said.
