Authorities of Burqin County in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region are promoting the county's beautiful landscape and glamour in Shanghai with recreational driving itineraries released and tourism projects signed.

During the event, a variety of projects including construction of the Wucaitan tourist attraction and the Qicai River Ecological Tourism Resort, an upgrade of the China-Russia Old Dock Street, and the construction of camping sites for recreational vehicles were inked with an investment.

Three mascots representing Burqin tourism were also debuted during the event, which was hosted by the government of Burqin County. The scene of the tourism promotion event replicated the fairytale world of the county.
