Two almost identical Rolls-Royces have the same plate.

Traffic police Wednesday found a parking lot inside an industrial park which appeared to be home to seven illegal luxury cars.

At Kaixuan Urban Industrial Park on Kaixuan Road S. in Xuhui District, police found seven cars — Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Lamborghini and Porsche — which appear to have been involved in various offenses.

Police started an investigation on discovering that some luxury cars, mostly used for weddings, were sporting the same plates.

The cars were tracked to a parking lot hidden within the industrial park.

Two almost identical Rolls-Royces were found with the same plate. One was legally registered, while the other was not.

Police said the owner of the registered car had applied for new plates several times.

A Lamborghini had no inspection records since 2015 and, legally, should have been scrapped, but an inspection sticker from 2019 was found on its windshield.

An illegal Bentley was using the plate of a legally registered Bentley with slightly different features.

Three Porsches were found to have been illegally modified to different extents.

Police said their investigation is still under way.
