Top students attend Shanghai summit
The 2019 International Youth Leadership Finance Summit kicked off at the weekend at the Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance of Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
The event attracted more than 1,200 undergraduates from all over the world to register with their insights on the theme of artificial intelligence and capital markets and more than 120 from 22 institutes, including Cambridge University, the London School of Economics and Political Science, Fudan University and Shanghai Jiao Tong University, were selected to attend the summit in Shanghai.
Their proposed projects cover various areas, including application of big data, online consumption, education, health care, smart agriculture and smart cities.
The results will be announced tomorrow.
The event, initiated in 2013, is aimed at providing an interaction and learning platform for outstanding undergraduate students, as well as to cultivate their leadership, communication and organizational skills via lectures, competitions and face-to-face communication with industrial leaders.
