Officer Yu's Master Class: Helping make life easier for foreigners in Shanghai
If you are an expat who lives in a residential complex or works in a company in Huangpu District with a large number of foreigners, chances are you've met Yu Shaohua, an exit-entry police officer of the district, and his colleagues.
It’s the police officer's mission, and part of his daily job, to publicize exit-entry rules to expats in China. Apart from trips to homes, offices and expat haunts, they also help staff at hotels more accurately register customers from overseas.
To better educate the public, the officers have created a list of questions frequently asked by expats, answered them and made helpful videos. The videos, titled “Officer Yu’s Master Class”, will be run here on shine.cn. Here is the first of the series.
