Mayor Ying meets HK delegation
Shanghai Mayor Ying Yong met the president of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong, Andrew Leung, and his delegation on Monday.
Ying said that as an international metropolis, Hong Kong has advanced methods of developing finance, trade and shipping, while improving urban management and livelihood and promoting the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Ying hoped that Shanghai will learn from Hong Kong’s advanced experience and enhance all-round cooperation and exchanges with the city so as to deal with common challenges.
Leung said he was impressed by Shanghai’s achievements in the reforms and opening-up initiative and “five centers” construction. He hoped that the two cities will deepen cooperation to achieve a win-win situation.
