Light air pollution till Thursday night
There was light air pollution due to high humidity and a lack of wind on Wednesday.
The real-time Air Quality Index reached 150 — the highest threshold for light pollution — at 3pm, with tiny particles at PM2.5 being the major pollutant.
The locally produced light pollution will last till Thursday, with the AQI set to be between 95-115. Some short-term moderate pollution (AQI between 151 and 200) is expected in some areas.
By Thursday evening, the index is expected to fall to below 75, and the air quality will be rated as good.
Thursday will be mostly cloudy, though drizzle can be expected in some areas. The temperature will be between 18 and 25 degrees Celsius.
Friday and Saturday will be cloudy, while the highest temperature will drop to 18-19 degrees.
Rain will come back to the city late on Sunday, and the highest temperature will climb to 24 degrees.
