Shanghai health authority has extended the deadline for poetry submissions for the event on August 10.

The local health authority has extended the deadline for submissions for a poetry recitation event on August 10, from May 1 to May 15.
On the nation’s second Doctors' Day, the authority has organized the event for artists, doctors and patients to recite poems that touch on themes of life and medicine, as well as works from medical staff and stories of their own experiences and feeling.
Since late February, the authority has received over 300 works, some from overseas.
