Blockchain for art

A blockchain industry foundation was established over the weekend by the Asia Cultural Artists Association to provide artists with advanced technologies.

The foundation will build a fair and trustworthy global trade assessment platform for artworks and promote exchanges of cultural arts in the world through blockchain technology.

Information about collections was previously not available.

Feng Ke, a professor at Peking University, said blockchain technology makes it possible that every artwork will be faithfully recorded with all information about production, transportation, storage and sale.
