Enjoy that breakfast, it could save your life
Skipping breakfast can kill you, or at the very least make you fat.
It can cause over-eating and increase the risk of heart problems or diabetes, medical experts told the Oriental Congress of Cardiology in Shanghai on Saturday.
And an empty stomach can raise blood pressure, they warned.
“Researchers found having breakfast can help drop blood pressure and prevent cardiovascular events like clots,” said Dr Huo Yong from Peking University First Hospital.
“Not having breakfast also can cause a fluctuation in blood fat ((cholesterol),” said Dr Qian Juying from Zhongshan Hospital.
"A healthy diet and change of life style are the basic measures for abnormal blood fat treatment."
