A charity adoption program for stray and abandoned dogs in Shanghai was held at Kerry Parkside on Saturday.
Unlike the traditional adoption method, local and expat children were allowed to choose stray dogs that looked similar to their toy puppies.
Experts also shared their expertise on pet-keeping with the children.
The program was a joint effort of Dettol, Suning and TA Shanghai, a rescue and caring center for stray animals, to arouse public awareness about abandoned animals in big cities of the country.
