Comfortable week ahead

A comfortable early summer week is ahead with mostly clear skies and cooler temperatures, forecasters said.

For high school seniors who took their college entrance exam, it will be perfect weather to take a break or go on an outing with friends. 

It will be dry and cloudy over the next couple of days but there will be showers on Thursday afternoon for a brief period before the return of cloudy conditions which will last into the weekend.

Temperatures will range from 20 to 29 degrees Celsius.

The annual high season for mosquitoes begins this month with more rainfall and high-temperature days are on their way to provide ideal conditions for them to breed along with the risk of diseases such as dengue fever. 

Local health authorities have launched an anti-mosquito campaign and are advising residents to take measures to prevent and kill the insects.
