China Railway Shanghai Group expects to restore full services by Sunday after typhoon Lekima hit the mainland and as it gradually weakens in the Yangtze River Delta.

The Shanghai-Jinshan railway connecting Shanghai South Railway Station and suburban Jinshan District will resume operation soon after Saturday midnight. Trains on the Shanghai–Beijing and Shanghai–Ningbo route will resume from 6:30am.

But as the typhoon is moving north, trains on some other routes will be suspended, including the trains operating between Yancheng and Ganyu, and trains from Yangzhou to Qidong in neighboring Jiangsu Province.

Those who have already purchased tickets of suspended trains can get a full refund from the ticket windows at train stations or the 12306 app and website within 30 days.
