Qingpu companies mobilizing for expo

The number of Qingpu companies and people who have signed up for the second CIIE puts it among the top Shanghai districts. 

By yesterday, which marked the 60-day countdown of the expo, the purchase amount of companies from Qingpu exceeded 2 billion yuan (US$280 million). More than 100 firms and organizations in the suburban district are mobilized to serve the expo.

Meanwhile, Qingpu will take full advantage of the four exhibition halls established in the district last year which allows exhibitors to continue showcasing their products after the CIIE ends. 

The district’s commerce commission has formed 18 groups to woo exhibitors from different industries and countries to bring their goods to Qingpu so that more local firms as well as residents can enjoy a never-ending CIIE.
