Register to Ride Like a Pro

Ride Like a Pro, a bicycle race managed by Giro d'Italia planned for Qingpu District on December 7 and 8, opened for registration on Friday.

Anyone aged 6 to 70 can sign up before November 9 at a cost of 99 yuan (US$14) for the first day, 199 yuan for the second, and a ticket package for the two-day race is 249 yuan. Those who register after November 9 will have to pay for 50 yuan more on each set of the tickets.

The first day will feature a time trial at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC) in four groups along two separate tracks (5-kilometer or 2.8-kilometer)  for cyclists at different levels, including a family contest.

On the second day, a road race and an exhibition race will bring legendary riders from all over the world for a showdown in Qingpu.

The 70-kilometer road race starts from at the NECC, goes west to Dianshan Lake, and finishes back at the NECC.
