Delta attractions more attractive and affordable than ever
A single tour pass covering 71 attractions in the Yangtze River Delta region was launched in Shanghai on Saturday, with 40 suggested routes capturing the autumn splendor.
Fengjing Water Town, Shanghai Science and Technology Museum and Xixi Wetland in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province are some attractions on the list.
The tour pass has a total value of more than 3,000 yuan, and comes in three packages priced at 199 yuan (US$28), 299 yuan and 499 yuan.
Shanghai, Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Anhui provinces presented their latest ideas at Shanghai International Resort in the Pudong New Area on Saturday, as part of the Yangtze River Delta Cultural Tourism Fair.
About 500 cyclists from across China took part in a cycling event hosted by Shanghai Spring Tour despite rain on Saturday.
The 40 autumn routes feature the ongoing Shanghai Tourism Festival, historical architecture, industrial tourism and art tours. They take tourists to the Zhujiajiao Water Village Music Festival, Jinshan Shengsi Seafood Festival and Nanxiang xiaolong (small steamed bun) festival and many other seasonal events.
