A new international patient research center was launched during the US-Sino Nursing Forum in Shanghai.
The PROMIS National Center of China was unveiled by officials and specialists from the US and Shanghai. PROMIS stands for Patient-Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System.
Over 500 health officials, researchers and nursing specialists participated in the forum, where nearly 100 delivered speeches, said Fudan University, organizer of the event.
Topics discussed at the forum included long-term caring and nursing for the elderly, evidence-based medicine, patient reports and health big data, critical nursing and leadership in nursing.
