Convenient customs service for CIIE

Local inspection authorities have opened special channels at the city's two airports and transport hubs like the Shanghai Railway Station to provide convenient customs clearance for participants of the second China International Import Expo (CIIE).

At the border inspection area in Terminals 1 and 2 of the Shanghai Pudong International Airport, LED screens, posters and signs have been placed to guide people attending the CIIE to these special channels.

Meanwhile, inspectors have also organized special teams and volunteers proficient in foreign languages to assist visitors from abroad.

Nearly 200 self-service channels have been set up at local ports, which can allow passengers to complete customs clearance within 10 seconds.

After the launch of Pudong airport's new satellite terminal, local authorities established 16 manual inspection channels and 10 self-service channels there to meet the needs of transfer passengers and improves transfer efficiency.
