Top Shanghai Congress official meets Nagasaki delegation

Yin Yicui, chairwoman of the Standing Committee of the Shanghai People’s Congress, met a delegation from the Nagasaki Prefectural Assembly of Japan at Hengshan Hotel in Shanghai yesterday.

Shanghai and Nagasaki have had friendly relations for over 20 years. In recent years, Shanghai has made rapid progress in foreign trade and economy, as well as transportation, education and sanitation, and the visit by the Nagasaki Prefectural Assembly team will push forward this bilateral relationship to a higher level, Yin said.

The friendship between the two cities shall last forever, and exchanges between the two sides will be strengthened, especially exchange activities among adolescences, Segawa Hikaruno, chairman of the Nagasaki Prefectural Assembly, told Yin.
