Feast of music with an international flavor

The 2019 Daning Music Festival was launched at Jing’an District’s Life Hub@Daning Plaza on Friday. The 10-day event will feature musicians and artists from China, Japan and South Korea.

Musical performances will be staged at the plaza’s central square on the following two weekends. The performers include Japan’s innovative electric troupe Maywa Denki, South Korea's KPOP dancers, DJ LiiiV and the Shanghai City Youth Symphony Orchestra which will present a concert on October 26 conducted by Cao Peng.

Grassroots musical competition “A Star Is Born!” will be organized during the festival.

There will be musical-themed interactive games for families visiting the plaza during the festival and some shops will open to midnight at weekends.
