Tourist attraction operators raise the flag for the second CIIE at a conference ahead of the event.

Eleven tourist attractions near the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Qingpu District will offer discounts admission during the upcoming China International Import Expo, Shanghai's tourism authorities said on Thursday.

Among them are Zhujiajiao Ancient Town and Oriental Green Boat Park in Qingpu District, Guyi Garden and Shanghai Auto Museum in Jiading District, Guangfulin Relics Park, Yuehu Sculpture Park and Chenshan Botanical Garden in Songjiang District, and Jinjiang Amusement Park in Minhang District, the Shanghai Administration of Culture and Tourism said.

Adult tickets will be discounted between November 5 and 20.

Chenshan Botanical Garden will halve its ticket price to 30 yuan (US$4.24) while Yuehu Sculpture Park will cut its prices to 90 yuan from 120 yuan.

Tourist attraction operators promised to stick to good quality service, honest operation and safety at a conference on Thursday prior to the second CIIE.

Price cheating will be eliminated and tourists' inquiries and complaints responded to in a timely manner, they said.

They will also comply with garbage-sorting regulations to create a pleasant environment and ensure clear signage.

Safety will be the priority, they said.
