Jing'an launches sports app

In Jing’an District, people can now easily locate sports facilities through an online mobile application.

The app, developed by sports authorities in the district, allows people to make online bookings at stadiums, gyms and fitness clubs, and make online purchases. There are also chances for users to win coupons.

Jing’an now has nearly 20 neighborhood basketball courts equipped with a smart system that allows self-service. Users simply scan a QR code at the court gates to gain entry. They pay via WeChat when they leave.

The app is part of Jing’an’s campaign of “Internet + Sports,” meant to encourage activity among young people, especially workaholics and couch potatoes.
