The station on Metro Line 2 will be closed to passengers on Tuesday until 2pm. All trains on Line 2 will terminate at Hongqiao Railway Station until East Xujing reopens.

East Xujing Station on Metro Line 2 will be closed to passengers on Tuesday until 2pm, said Shanghai Shentong Metro Group.
All trains on Line 2 will terminate at Hongqiao Railway Station until the station reopens. Passengers who wish to go to East Xujing Station are advised instead to go to Zhuguang Road Station of Line 17, which is only about 1 kilometer away from East Xujing.
Ma Sinan, station chief of Zhuguang Road Station, told Shanghai Daily they have prepared extra manpower at the station to facilitate passengers.
