Three people were killed in the fire at a logistics company in Baoshan District on Saturday evening, the district government said. One person was confirmed dead at the scene and two later died in hospital,.
Over 500 square meters was devoured by fire at a warehouse belonging to Xinde company on Yunchuan Road.
The fire authorities said on Saturday that the fire broke out at 5:03pm and had been extinguished by 6:27pm. The cause of the blaze is yet to be determined.
