Prison officers show off their skills

The final of the fifth vocational skills competition for local prison police officers was held over the weekend.

This year the Shanghai Prison Administration organized five training and skill competitions with the prisons themselves providing more than 150 training programs with over 120,000 officers participating.

Based on key problems, the administration designed five events including education of prisoners, risk prevention and investigation skills.

The candidates are from city prisons and two in Anhui and Jiangsu provinces which are under the management of the administration. There were five rounds including quizzes, planning and simulations.
