New red decorations

A festive pop-up market on Anyi Road will feature the first “snow” of the season in downtown Jing’an District.

The pedestrian-only night fair, open only on weekends, has new holiday decorations in festive colors on the 264-meter-long road.

This weekend, artificial snow will fall, allowing visitors to experience a wintry downtown Shanghai.

The fair will offer a wide selection of holiday merchandise, great food and drinks, street art shows and charity activities such as a dog adoption.

This weekend, the fair will run from noon to 11pm on Saturday, and noon to 10pm on Sunday. It will last until January 12.
