It'll be cold at Christmas

Rainy is likely to linger in the city for one more week with temperatures between 6 and 14 degrees Celsius.

The Christmas Eve will be cold but a warmer Christmas Day will see a high of 14 degrees. 

With the winter solstice on Sunday, the coldest period of winter will begin as daylight hours increase.

Monday morning is forecast to be partly smoggy. Skies will be cloudy and then turn rainy in the evening. The mercury will fluctuate from 8 to 14 degrees.

The high will drop to 12 degrees on Tuesday with the rain weakening to drizzle. Wednesday will be warmer and wetter.

Thursday and Friday will be the coldest days of the week, but a milder weekend is expected.
