Short health videos well-received by residents
Ten short videos on health-related topics filmed by doctors have received good responses from local residents, and a second batch of videos were issued on Wednesday, said the Minhang District Health Commission.
The videos are being shown in neighborhood health centers and communities to spread health information among the public. The shorts have also received over 1.2 million clicks since being posted online, officials said.
The latest batch of videos include practical health information and guidance based on residents' feedback.
Western medicine and traditional Chinese medicine are both covered and information like how to properly take hypertension medicine, preventing antibiotics abuse and healthy herbal teas will be made into interesting video clips, officials said.
The health commission said it plans to made 100 such videos within three years.
