The Jing’ansi Subdistrict of Jing’an District and Shanghai-based hospitality giant Jinjiang International have formed an alliance to share resources and seek better development.

Jing’ansi, one of the most prosperous commercial and business areas of Shanghai, is a must-see place for foreign visitors and multinational companies' best bet to enter the city.

Jinjiang International is the second-biggest hotel group in the world, following Marriott International. It has over 10,000 hotels in more than 120 countries and regions, including renowned brands such as Radisson, Golden Tulip and Campanile.

Hong Mingming, head of the Party working committee of the subdistrict, said the alliance aims to build closer connections between neighborhoods and businesses, and create a platform for local office workers to experience the subdistrict’s charm.

L'Oreal’s Chinese headquarters, Huashan Hospital as well as Shanghai YF Vocational and Polytechnical School are among the first batch based in Jing’ansi who have signed strategic cooperation with the alliance.

According to the school, Jinjiang International will help foster students and offer job positions.
