Travel agencies offer refunds on Wuhan services

Travel agencies are offering refunds to those who booked tours to Wuhan, capital of central China's Hubei Province, after four deaths from a new coronavirus strain were confirmed in Wuhan.

Online travel operator Trip.com is offering free cancellations and full refunds on hotels, attraction tickets and vehicle rentals in Wuhan through January 31, it announced on Tuesday.

Tongcheng, another online travel operator, said it is offering full refunds for hotel orders in Wuhan from Tuesday to January 31, while travel review website Mafengwo has provided full refunds for accommodation and ticket orders in Wuhan through January 31 as well.

Alibaba's online travel unit Fliggy has made a similar announcement.
