Shanghai reported 13 new coronavirus-related pneumonia on Monday, including one patient in critical condition.

So far, Shanghai has reported a total of 53 coronavirus cases, including 29 male and 24 female. They range from 7 to 88 years old, according to Shanghai Health Commission.

Among the patients, 20 people have lived in Wuhan, the epicenter of the current coronavirus outbreak, 21 people have traveled to Wuhan and 12 cases have connection to infected patients.

Twenty-three people are from other provinces and 30 people are local residents, which include those with registered residency or people staying in the city for over six months.

Among the residents, seven people live in the Pudong New Area, five in districts of Changning and Jing’an respectively, three in Xuhui District, two in Hongkou, Minhang and Qingpu districts respectively, one in Huangpu, Baoshan, Jiading and Fengxian districts respectively.

Among the patients, 49 are in stable condition, two critical, one dead and one discharged with recovery, the commission said.

By now, 57 suspected cases have been ruled out infection and another 90 suspected cases are undergoing test.
