Three more coronavirus patients discharged in Shanghai
Another three coronavirus patients were discharged upon recovery in Shanghai on Wednesday, said the Shanghai Health Commission.
So far, a total of 15 people in the city have been released from hospital following recovery.
One of those discharged is a 39-year-old man, surnamed Li, who is a Henan Province native and long-time resident of Shanghai. He recently traveled to Wuhan, the center of the epidemic, and later went to the hospital for fever. He was confirmed with coronavirus infection on January 24 and transferred to Shanghai Public Health Clinical Center, the designated facility for coronavirus treatment.
A 46-year-old woman with Shanghai residency, surnamed Lan, had traveled to Wuhan. She was diagnosed with coronavirus infection on January 27 and was transferred to the public health center for treatment.
A 48-year-old Shanghai man surnamed Wang had contact with a confirmed patient. He went to the fever clinic with symptoms and was confirmed with infection on January 28.
Shanghai has reported a total of 233 coronavirus cases to date.
