Everyone must wear masks and have their temperature measured in all public places in the city from Saturday.

Anyone entering places such as airports, railway stations, long-distance coach stations, hospitals, malls and supermarkets or taking public transportation must wear masks and have their temperature taken, according to a notice released during a press conference on epidemic prevention and control on Saturday.

Those who refuse to comply will be denied entrance, the notice states. Those who disrupt public order, public security or interfere with officials in the course of their duties will face punishment.

The notice is effective from Saturday until further notice.
