Another six coronavirus cases have been confirmed, bringing the total to 292 in the city, with 88 suspected cases ruled out, the Shanghai Health Commission said on Sunday morning.

Among the newly diagnosed patients, one comes from Jiangsu Province and four are Shanghai residents — three lives in the Pudong New Area and one each in Jing'an and Putuo districts.

So far, Shanghai has reported a total of 292 cases and ruled out 965 suspected cases. The confirmed infected patients are aged between 7 months and 88 years old. A total of 97 patients are from outside the city -- 66 from Wuhan, 23 from other cities in Hubei, two each from Anhui and Jiangsu provinces, one each from Heilongjiang, Hunan, Shaanxi and Gansu provinces.

The commission said 230 patients are stable, 10 are in a serious condition and 10 are critical. Forty-one patients have recovered and been discharged from hospital. There has been only one fatality. Another 205 suspected cases are undergoing tests.
