There is an increase of passengers arriving in Shanghai on Sunday via railway with the upcoming resumption of work.

Shanghai's railway stations are estimated to see 19,000 passengers depart on Sunday, and 120,000 arrive, according to rail authorities.

The arrival figure was 103,000 on Saturday, 102,000 on Friday, 89,000 on Thursday.

Infrared temperature checks are conducted on every passenger, and arriving passengers are required to register. They must wear masks.

Disinfection has been enhanced at railway stations in the city.
