Five more coronavirus patients were discharged upon recovery on Thursday, said the Shanghai Health Commission.
So far, 62 patients have been released from designated hospitals, the commission said.
The five patients, four males and one female, are all adults. Two had traveled in Hubei Province, the epicenter of the current epidemic. One patient had traveled in another province and two had contact with a confirmed patient.
All discharged patients will be under follow-up management and observation, the health authority said.
